Role Summary
The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that drive organic growth, improve site performance, and align with each client’s business goals. This role requires a data-driven mindset, technical and creative SEO knowledge, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with content, web, PPC, and client-facing teams. The SEO Specialist will manage multiple accounts, implement monthly optimizations, and be accountable for ongoing strategic delivery and reporting.

Skills Needed
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices
- Solid knowledge of Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
- Familiarity with tracking and web tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience managing client escalations and driving resolutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments (PPC, Web, Client Experience).
- High level of organization and process orientation.
- Strong time management and task prioritization in ClickUp.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and self-development, including the ability to complete both soft skill and technical training assigned by the Chief of Staff or immediate supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of SEO client accounts and ensure consistent performance and progress.
- Stay organized and meet deadlines by actively managing daily tasks and priorities.
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, including research, strategy development, and initial recommendations.
- Conduct ongoing website optimizations based on performance data and business goals.
- Support link-building efforts through coordination with approved external partners.
- Take ownership of improvement plans for underperforming accounts and drive them toward success.
- Make data-driven decisions using industry tools and best practices—avoiding assumptions or one-size-fits-all approaches.
- Collaborate with content teams to guide strategy, keyword focus, and optimization direction.
- Work cross-functionally with other marketing teams to support overall digital performance.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure all documentation is clear and client-ready.
